Airbrush Glory From Ocean City, MD
Here's a little blast from the 2 years ago past. I had fun making this video. The music is from the creative mind of my buddy, David M. Minter and the song used is called "Muchchas Cookarachas". Enjoy again if you haven't already.
Rutgers U.
I got home VERY late last night after performing my seminar at Rutgers University...like 2:30am late. Now to some of you, that's common practice to stay up that late, but for me....not so much. The trucks on the highway began speaking to me around 1:30, saying funny things and warping the way they looked, so I had to pull over at a rest stop and get a bottle of water for fear that sleepy land would show itself a bit earlier than I intended it too.
Nonetheless, I made it home safely after a great night with the good people in New Jersey and enjoyed doing the seminar for them. Everybody was really nice and I only got made fun of for my height 3 or 4 times (a record low!).
Thanks to Rutgers Cru for spending the evening with me. I hope you had fun and learned something at the same time.

Filming

Sunday brought with it the opportunity to film a few commercials with the Bridge Band guys. We set up at an undisclosed location and filmed for a few hours in order to create the perfect online promotion for RADIATE09.
The commercials are currently being edited even as I type this and should be ready to post in the very near future. I'll post them on my website here and also on the RADIATE website as soon as they are finished. I can't wait to see how they turned out...yee haw!
Rutgers

This upcoming Thursday, I'll be heading to Rutgers University, home of the Scarlet Knights. I'll be performing my seminar for those good people in New Jersey and I must say that I'm excited and a little bit scared at the same time.
Why, you ask? Well, the unofficial state motto for New Jersey is, "Where the weak are killed and eaten." Pleasant, wouldn't you say?
If I walk onto the stage there with the slightest hint of no confidence, they might eat me alive...literally. Well, it's a good thing that I've got God on my side here. In reality, I'm very pumped to go visit my friends to the north at Rutgers. The students there have always been really cool to me and it'll be great to entertain and motivate them.
I might even get myself a sandwich from the Grease Trucks while I'm up there too. A "Fat Darrell" or maybe a "Fat Cat". If you don't know what I'm talking about, watch the Food Network more often, or just google it.
See you soon, New Jersey!
Recording
Above are a few shots from my recording experience with the Bridge Band guys last Thursday night. The studio where we were was great and despite what the bottom pic might look like, we actually had a very good time "laying down a few tracks" for the upcoming RADIATE online promotion.
Now that the sound is done, all that's left to do is film...hopefully that will happen this upcoming Saturday (weather permitting) and we'll be able to get those up on the web for you all to see what in the world we've been doing.
It'll be worth the wait/effort, I promise. (Fingers and toes crossed)
Helpful Snuggie Information
In case any of you are curious about what you should do when it comes to the very difficult decision on whether or not to purchase a Snuggie, I thought this little diagram would be helpful. You can thank me later.

Fall Retreat
To everyone that attended the Fall Retreat this weekend in Maryland at the North Bay Adventure Camp, thanks for making it such a great show! You guys were a really warm crowd and I feel blessed to have been a small part of your retreat this weekend.
Hopefully I'll see most of you all again this year at RADIATE09!
